At Salt Lake Behavioral Health Hospital we understand that not all wounds are visible. Depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction and suicide affects millions of individuals and families. Our mission is to transform lives through exceptional patient care. Salt Lake Behavioral Health is a private 118 bed freestanding psychiatric hospital specializing in mental health and substance abuse treatment for adolescents and adults. We serve the Salt Lake City and surrounding area using evidence-based treatments in a comfortable, confidential atmosphere.

We believe in an individualized, patient-focused approach to diagnosis and treatment. For some, anxiety or drug dependence looks different from others with the same diagnoses, and in some cases, Behavioral health and substance use disorders occur simultaneously. The Training & Development Coordinator will w ork in collaboration with the Salt Lake Behavioral Health Executive Leadership team to develop and maintain a system of training and development that ensures compliance with all relevant regulatory entities, provides high quality training services to employees, and supports and strengthens employees' professional development. The Training & Development Coordinator coordinates all training related activities and presents training to all employees on company policies and procedures, new hire orientation, core philosophies, first aid, CPR, safety & emergency procedures, verbal de-escalation, physical interventions, etc.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Experience: 3-5 years experience in training, compliance, and professional development.
  • Certifications Required: Handle with Care Trainer, Verbal De-escalation Trainer, AED/CPR/First Aid Trainer, Service Excellence Facilitator
  • Additional Requirements: Handle with Care Master Trainer (preferred), Verbal De-escalation Master Trainer (preferred)
