What You'll Do Day-To-Day
  • Facilitates technical training sessions (classroom, virtual or handson) to support skills development, safety, quality and operational proficiency.  
  • Partners with experienced trainers and SMEs to maintain consistent delivery of technical instruction across shifts, teams and locations.  
  • Supports the development and updating of technical training materials, job aids and work instructions.  
  • Assists with maintaining training documentation, tracking training completion and entering records into learning systems.  
  • Helps administer assessments, skills checks and practical evaluations to ensure technical competence.  
  • Contributes to the implementation of standardized technical training processes and procedures.  
  • Supports training audits, reviews and quality checks to promote accuracy and adherence to standards.  
  • Works with training managers and operational leadership to align training tasks with organizational priorities.  
  • Helps identify training gaps or improvement opportunities through feedback, observation and data review.  
  • Encourages learners, provides constructive feedback, and helps strengthen instructional consistency across teams.

- Mentor OJTIs, provide feedback, and strengthen instructional effectiveness. - Monitor OJTI performance, review training plans and ensure consistency in student evaluations. - Implement standardized training procedures, conduct audits and recommend corrective actions. - Support OJTIs in building instructional confidence and adopting innovative techniques. - Work with training managers and supervisors to align OJTI activities with organizational goals.- Ability to work under moderate supervision, responsible for guiding, mentoring and coaching Instructors (OJTIs). - Ensures OJTIs deliver consistent, effective and standardized training to enable workstation qualification. - Fosters professional development among OJTIs while maintaining high training standards across the organization. - Position is applicable to HRR Richland facility.  - Special consideration will be given to experience in a manufacturing or production-oriented field.

   Safety / Quality Mindset    Teamwork & Peer Relationships    Identify training needs and curriculum to improve safety, quality, and manufacturability through verbatim compliance.    Maintain documentation and metrics related to training improvements and trends.     Ensures compliance with government, organization and customer engineering standards.    Works on special projects, as directed.    Performs other related duties and tasks, as required.    Shift work will be required to address employees on all shifts. 

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business field with a minimum of 4 years of related experience is required. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and technical training methodologies.  
  • Ability to evaluate technical performance objectively and provide supportive coaching.  
  • Ability to follow structured training processes and support standardization efforts.
  • Good communication skills with ability to work effectively with all  levels of staff, management and customers as required.
  • Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Good problem identification and problem resolution skills.  
  • Ability to learn new technical concepts.
Total Rewards Package
  • Salary: $84,000 - $110,000, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
