GENERAL FUNCTION:
Responsible for assessing organizational learning needs and designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating learning and development programs that support operational excellence, regulatory compliance, onboarding, leadership development, technical proficiency, and Team Member growth. Partners with business leaders and subject matter experts to create learning solutions that improve performance and support strategic business objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Training Strategy, Design, and Delivery
Design, develop, and implement training programs that support onboarding, technical skills, compliance requirements, and professional development needs.
Apply adult learning principles, appropriate development models, and scenario-based learning methods to improve knowledge retention and job application.
Facilitate engaging training sessions in in-person, virtual, and blended formats for Team Members across the organization.
Create effective learning materials, including presentations, guides, e-learning modules, job aids, and other resources that support consistent training delivery.
Support implementation and optimization of learning technologies, including LMS platforms and digital learning solutions.
Partner with HR, Management, Technology, Compliance, and department leaders to support onboarding programs and ensure new Team Members receive the training, tools, and resources needed to integrate successfully into their roles and the company culture.
Support Team Member development planning by partnering with managers to identify skill-building opportunities, individual development plans, and succession-planning needs.

Training Administration
Conduct training needs assessments using surveys, interviews, performance data, and feedback to identify gaps in knowledge, skills, and performance.
Assist with administration of the company's learning management system (LMS), including course assignments, content updates, training records, progress tracking, and reporting.
Collect, analyze, and interpret learning data and business performance metrics to assess training effectiveness, identify trends, and support data-driven recommendations.
Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, performance indicators, and post-training results; recommend updates to improve program quality and business impact.
Collaborate with HR, Management, Technology, Compliance, department leaders, and subject matter experts to ensure training programs are accurate, timely, relevant, and aligned with operational goals.

Review the Bank's information security guidelines regularly and avoid activity that could expose the Bank to malware, scams, and fraud. Distinction of Duties

Experienced training role responsible for independently developing, coordinating, and facilitating training programs for assigned business areas. Uses sound judgment to adapt training delivery to audience and operational needs.

Advanced training role serving as a resource and lead contributor for complex or high-impact training initiatives. Designs and manages comprehensive training programs, leads needs assessments, advises leaders on development solutions, analyzes training outcomes, and mentors other training staff. Provides independent judgment, strategic input, and subject matter expertise across onboarding, compliance, technical, and professional development programs.

  • At least five (5) years of training, banking, operations, HR, or equivalent experience
  • Advanced facilitation, instructional design, program management, and stakeholder consultation skills
  • Ability to lead complex training projects from needs assessment through delivery and evaluation
  • Ability to analyze training data, identify trends, and present recommendations to management
  • Ability to guide, coach, or mentor other training staff or subject matter experts
