The Business Development Assistant will support the growth and expansion of sports outreach initiatives by assisting in identifying, developing, and coordinating new team screening and partnership opportunities in coordination with the Business Development Manager – Sports Outreach. This role is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with athletic organizations, schools, clubs, coaches, and community partners to increase program participation and awareness. This role will assist with handling calls on the injury hotline, scheduling direct access patients and physician referrals. The position also assists with outreach efforts, event coordination, lead generation, partnership development, and tracking key growth metrics to support strategic business objectives. Onsite AT coverage will be required as needed.

As a subject matter expert in sports medicine and athletic performance, the candidate must be a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), ideally licensed in both MO and IL, have ability to effectively communicate the value of athlete screening, injury prevention, and performance enhancement services to prospective partners. The ideal candidate is highly organized, relationship-focused, proactive, and passionate about advancing athlete health and wellness through community engagement and business development initiatives.
