Task Manager & Corporate Trainer

Our hospitality management company is seeking an energetic, organized, and hands-on Task Manager & Trainer to support operations across our portfolio of 9 hotels located in multiple states. Our portfolio includes hotels operating under IHG Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International, Hilton, Hyatt, and Best Western brands.
This position is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys traveling, training teams, improving operations, and assisting hotels with day-to-day execution, transitions, openings, staffing support, and operational consistency.
Position Summary
The Task Manager & Trainer will travel between properties to assist hotel teams with operational support, training, brand standards, staffing coverage, hotel transitions, process implementation, and performance improvement initiatives. This role works closely with corporate leadership, General Managers, and department leaders to ensure operational excellence across the portfolio.
Essential Responsibilities
Operational Support
- Â Assist hotels with operational task force coverage as neededÂ
- Â Support underperforming properties with corrective action plansÂ
- Â Help maintain compliance with brand standards and QA inspectionsÂ
- Â Assist with hotel openings, transitions, renovations, and management changesÂ
- Â Conduct operational audits and identify improvement opportunitiesÂ
- Â Ensure consistency in guest service standards across all hotelsÂ
Training & Development
- Â Train hotel teams on company policies, brand standards, and operational proceduresÂ
- Â Assist in onboarding new General Managers and department leadersÂ
- Â Develop and conduct hands-on training for front desk, housekeeping, breakfast, maintenance, and operations teamsÂ
- Â Reinforce service culture and accountability standardsÂ
- Â Support leadership development and employee coaching initiativesÂ
Corporate Support
- Â Assist with implementing company initiatives and operational programsÂ
- Â Travel to hotels experiencing staffing shortages or operational challengesÂ
- Â Partner with Operations, HR, Revenue Management, and Sales teamsÂ
- Â Prepare reports and provide updates to corporate leadershipÂ
- Â Help ensure hotels meet financial, guest satisfaction, and operational goalsÂ
Qualifications
-  Minimum 3–5 years hotel management or multi-department hospitality experienceÂ
- Â Experience with Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, IHG, or Best Western preferredÂ
- Â Strong understanding of hotel operations including:Â
- Â Front OfficeÂ
- Â HousekeepingÂ
- Â Breakfast/Food & BeverageÂ
- Â MaintenanceÂ
- Â Guest ServiceÂ
- Â Strong leadership and communication skillsÂ
- Â Ability to train, motivate, and coach hotel teamsÂ
- Â Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilitiesÂ
- Â Willingness to travel frequently between properties and statesÂ
- Â Experience with hotel PMS systems and brand platforms preferredÂ
- Â Ability to work flexible schedules including occasional weekends if neededÂ
Preferred Qualifications
- Â Multi-property or task force experienceÂ
- Â Brand QA or audit experienceÂ
- Â Hotel opening or transition experienceÂ
- Â Bilingual abilities are a plusÂ
- Â Experience with select-service and extended-stay hotel operations preferredÂ
