Job description

This position has two schedules available:

1st Shift: Monday -Friday 6AM-2:30PM

2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 3PM-11:30AM (this is 5 days a week)



Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Focus training efforts on Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Standard Work within Logistics operations
  • Coordinate and administer training programs for all Logistics team members, including onboarding, cross-training, refresher training, certifications, and recertifications
  • Partner with department leadership to identify training gaps, evaluate training effectiveness, and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop, maintain, and update training materials, work instructions, certifications, and training documentation to support operational and compliance requirements
  • Conduct hands-on training and evaluations for warehouse processes and material handling equipment operators, including forklifts
  • Maintain accurate training and certification documentation in accordance with company policies and compliance requirements
  • Support training activities across multiple shifts based on operational needs
  • Lead by example through professionalism, accountability, safety awareness, and continuous improvement


Qualifications:


Experience, Skills & Education

  • Ability to work flexible hours as training activities may need to support multiple shifts
  • 1–3 years of experience in a training, warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or operations environment preferred
  • Experience operating material handling equipment and training employees on safe forklift operation preferred
  • Ability to train, evaluate, and certify forklift operators in accordance with company safety policies and operational standards
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to engage employees at varying experience levels
  • Capable of evaluating employee comprehension and practical application of training material
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent presentation skills in order to deliver quality training programs in multiple settings
