In collaboration with our valued business partners, we deliver new product development (NPI) strategies for product commercialization and provide solutions in the medical, industrial, defense, and renewable energy industries.  Enriching life is a crucial component of what we do daily.
The Opportunity:  Quality Inspector
Your Role: The Quality Inspector is responsible for conducting inspections of sheet metal, assemblies, and machined parts. In this role, you will provide support to the Quality and Engineering teams in investigating corrective actions and uphold the maintenance of inspection records and documentation in accordance with government, customer, and company standards.Essential Functions 
  • Perform dimensional inspections on both in-process and finished machined parts and products using measurement techniques and equipment. 
  • Inspect weldments and fabricated products
  • Inspect finished product (painting and powdercoat)
  • Inspect assemblies and sub-assemblies
  • Use experience with common metrology tools including calipers, and micrometers to measure parts.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Reports To: Quality Manager
Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum education level of High School, GED, or its equivalent
  • Familiarity with ISO compliant manufacturing environments
  • Ability to read blueprints and proficient understanding of GD&T
  • 3+ years inspection experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years inspection experience in a precision machining environment
  • Previous exposure to operation and programming of CMM equipment
  • CMM experience
