Job description

The Training & Development Facilitator is responsible for delivering engaging learning experiences that prepare employees to perform their roles successfully while reinforcing CHM's mission, culture, and operational standards. This role owns classroom instruction, onboarding delivery, learner engagement, coaching, and facilitation to ensure employees develop the knowledge, con๏ฌdence, and skills necessary for long-term success. Working closely with department leaders and the Training & Development Specialist, the Instructor provides feedback that strengthens curriculum, improves learner outcomes, and enhances the overall training experience.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Own the delivery of instructor-led, virtual, and hybrid learning experiences that promote learner engagement, knowledge retention, and successful application of job responsibilities.
  • Facilitate enterprise onboarding programs that prepare new employees to understand CHM's mission, culture, systems, and role-specific expectations.
  • Coach learners throughout the training process by providing guidance, encouragement, and constructive feedback that supports successful performance.
  • Assess learner readiness through observation, discussion, practical application, and formal knowledge assessments, identifying opportunities for additional coaching and support.
  • Reinforce consistent application of organizational policies, procedures, systems, and best practices through facilitation, coaching, and learner follow-up.
  • Identify recurring learner trends, knowledge gaps, and training opportunities, providing feedback to the Training & Development Specialist to support curriculum improvements and learning resource development.
  • Partner with department leaders to coordinate training schedules, support operational readiness, and ensure employees successfully transition into their roles.
  • Maintain accurate learner attendance, completion records, evaluations, and training documentation within the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Maintain working knowledge of T & D department responsibilities to support cross-training, operational continuity, workload balancing, and departmental coverage during periods of growth, transition, or staffing needs.
  • Foster a Christ-centered learning environment that encourages professional growth, collaboration, and servant leadership.
  • Uphold CHM's mission, values, policies, and procedures in all work performed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by T & D Manager

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related ๏ฌeld; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • 2 - 4 years of experience facilitating instructor-led, virtual, onboarding, or adult learning programs.
  • 3+ years of experience presenting and facilitating learning in classroom, virtual, or hybrid environments.
  • 2+ years of experience utilizing a Learning Management System (LMS) and Microsoft O๏ฌƒce applications.
  • 2+ years of experience coaching, mentoring, or supporting adult learners in a professional environment.
