The Role at a Glance

The Training and Development Specialist I supports all aspects of professional training and development with a focus on logistical support, curriculum development and facilitation of assigned courses. Under supervision, this position will assist with curriculum material design and creation, facilitate multiple courses, and support the coordination, communication, hosting responsibilities and registration process for learning events hosted or supported by the Training and Development team.

This position is housed in the Human Resources department and reports to the Training and Development Manager.

Qualifications of the Role

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

  • One year of related experience in curriculum development, facilitating workshops with adult learners, or training coordination.

  • Must have a valid motor vehicle operator's license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.

Equivalency: Will consider three years of related experience (Listed Above) with an Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university OR five years of related experience (Listed Above) with a High School Diploma/GED.
