What You'll Do:

Training

  • Lead the planning, development, and delivery of Distribution Services training programs, including onboarding, operational, systems, leadership, and Health & Safety training.

  • Translate business and operational priorities into scalable learning solutions that build Associate capability, support operational excellence, and drive business readiness.

  • Establish and maintain training standards, frameworks, processes, and tools to ensure consistent and effective training delivery across Distribution Centers.

  • Partner with Operations, HR, Learning & Development, and subject matter experts to identify training needs and implement learning solutions.

  • Evaluate program effectiveness using performance metrics and continuously improve training content, delivery methods, and learning outcomes.

  • Oversee training governance, resources, schedules, and materials to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with operational requirements.

Stakeholder Partnership & Collaboration

  • Partner with Operations, HR, Learning & Development, and cross-functional teams to align training programs with business objectives and operational priorities.

  • Support onboarding, organizational change, process improvements, system implementations, and operational readiness initiatives through effective training solutions.

  • Provide recommendations on training priorities, delivery strategies, and resource requirements based on business needs and performance insights.

  • Build strong relationships across the organization to drive successful adoption and sustainability of training programs.

Talent Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of trainers responsible for delivering high-quality learning experiences across the Distribution Services network.

  • Set team priorities, allocate resources, and oversee training delivery to ensure operational needs and timelines are met.

  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and development planning to strengthen team capability, performance, and succession readiness.

  • Support the recruitment, onboarding, development, and retention of a high-performing training team.

About You:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Distribution Services, Supply Chain, Operations, Learning & Development, or a related field, with 3+ years of progressive training and development experience, including people leadership.

  • Post-secondary education in Adult Learning, Communications, Business, Supply Chain, Human Resources, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; Adult Learning certification is an asset.

  • Proven experience leading teams, setting priorities, managing performance, developing talent, and providing coaching, guidance, and feedback.

  • Strong facilitation, communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate, influence, and build relationships across all levels of the organization.

  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, research, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess needs, develop solutions, adapt to changing priorities, and make sound business decisions.

  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with strong project management skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Articulate and Adobe Creative Suite is an asset.

  • Flexible to travel to Distribution Centers located in Central and Western Region when required
