Job description

Camp Wah-Nee is a private, premier, beautiful co-ed sleep away camp located in the foothills of the Berkshires in northwestern Connecticut. The camp sits in a country setting overlooking our 75 acre lake.

Our health care team is comprised of 5 nurses. Applicants with camp age children (8-16 years old) are welcome to be full time campers. We run one session - all campers and staff stay for the 7 weeks. All staff RESIDE at camp for the season. You have a private room, air conditioning and bathroom. Although professional, we are informal. We work in shorts and t-shirts in a warm, friendly atmosphere. Work days vary significantly. There may be days when the caseload is light and you are able to spend hours relaxing. There may be others when the caseload is busy on your shift. Meds are distributed each day to campers who require them. Our camp season runs June 25 to August 12. ORIENTATION begins June 17 Salary range: Competitive. We are down to earth camp people who are committed to excellence. Great summer opportunity.....you'll love it!
