  • Deliver curriculum content to Surgical Technology students in adherence to CHCP’s academic standards and guidelines.
  • Provide mentorship and professional guidance to students, fostering their development into skilled and ethical surgical technologists.
  • Ensure compliance with all accreditation and credentialing requirements in the delivery of educational materials.
  • Utilize your operating room experience to provide practical insights and real-world applications of surgical technology principles.
  • Collaborate with faculty and administrative teams to optimize educational outcomes and maintain a high-performance learning environment.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic and professional growth.

  • Associate’s Degree in Surgical Technology or a related field is required.
  • Credential from a nationally recognized and accredited credentialing agency is mandatory.
  • Current CPR certification is required.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of operating room experience or teaching in the field within the last five (5) years, or a combination of both.
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) designation is required.
  • Three (3) or more years of professional experience as a Surgical Technologist.
  • Proven ability to deliver curriculum content and mentor students effectively.
