Job description


We are seeking professional, reliable individuals who speak foreign languages fluently to support a variety of training exercises within the United States. Selected candidates will help create realistic, culturally informed training scenarios involving communication, advising, interpretation, and interaction with role players. This is an unclassified training support opportunity. No clearance is required, but professionalism, reliability, confidentiality, and the ability to follow safety and training guidelines is essential. Desired languages: Tagalog, Mandarin, Korean, Russian.
Positions Available:
Interpreter Role Players
Responsibilities:
- Support realistic scenario-based conversations between English-speaking trainees and foreign language-speaking role players.
- Fluency in both English and a foreign language is required.
- Comfortable interpreting in live training scenarios.
Specialized Role Players
Responsibilities:
- Portray realistic scenario characters such as community members, public officials, local leaders, civil personnel, or security-related personnel.
- Comfortable acting, improvising, following scenario guidance, and adapting to trainee actions.
- Familiarity with the foreign language regional culture to support realistic training.
Requirements
*Preferred: *
- 25 years of age or older.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Fluent in English and a foreign language.
- Familiar with the culture, customs, communication styles, or regional context of the language spoken.
- Willingness to display emotions commensurate with the role requirements.
- Prior role-player support experience.
- Experience in interpretation or translation.
- Experience in acting, improvisation, teaching, public speaking, or facilitation.
- Ability to work well in high-pressure situations and adapt to changing scenarios.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and following ethical guidelines.
