Mountain Pro is hiring a Commercial Painting Field Lead to guide crews on commercial, resort-area, and high-end residential painting projects throughout the Durango, CO area.

This is a hands-on field leadership opportunity for an experienced painter who can keep a crew organized, productive, safe, and focused on quality. You will partner closely with production leadership, help make daily jobsite decisions, and support professional painting results across Southwest Colorado.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and support painting crews on commercial and high-end residential jobsites
  • Set daily priorities and help keep projects safe, organized, and on schedule
  • Assign work based on crew strengths, project needs, and deadlines
  • Oversee surface preparation, masking, interior painting, exterior painting, detail work, and final touch-ups
  • Maintain high standards for prep, cleanliness, finish quality, and jobsite presentation
  • Communicate with Production Managers about materials, timelines, staffing, progress, and project needs
  • Adjust daily work plans when needed to protect schedules and quality
  • Troubleshoot jobsite issues and make practical field decisions
  • Support a respectful, hardworking, drama-free crew environment
  • Represent Mountain Pro professionally with clients, contractors, and property managers
  • Help deliver a finished product the whole team can be proud of
What You Bring
  • 2-3+ years of professional commercial painting experience preferred
  • Experience with interior, exterior, prep, and finish painting preferred
  • 2+ years of crew leadership, team lead, foreman, or field supervision experience preferred
  • Strong communication and crew management skills
  • Ability to plan daily work, solve problems, and keep jobs moving
  • High standards for preparation, detail, cleanliness, and final results
  • Professional attitude with clients, coworkers, managers, and contractors
  • English fluency required
  • Spanish language skills are a plus
  • Valid driver's license
  • Local to the Durango area or willing to relocate for the right opportunity
