Moxie Pest Control is a rapidly growing pest control company looking to invest in future leaders and enhance its operational infrastructure to support future growth.

Position Description

The Moxie Pest Control Branch Manager trainee program plays a critical role in supporting business operations by training leaders to open new locations or move to existing ones, thereby strengthening growth and profitability. This position is responsible for learning all the “ins” and “outs” of our business and industry in order to teach our pest control technicians to become experts in their chosen craft. The purpose of this role is to provide dynamic leadership to field technicians while improving customer retention.

The core responsibilities of this role are:
  • Create a company culture that embodies Moxie Pest Control’s core values and team talents
  • Be fanatical about finding new ways to better serve and retain our customers
  • Develop leadership skills that will prepare you to open and/or run a branch upon completion of our training program
  • Learn how to hire and develop talent
  • Train & lead technicians in completing general pest control, mosquito, insulation, and termite treatments
  • Independently create new reports and metrics that significantly impact business operations
  • Consistent learning of pests, products, and treatments
Detailed responsibilities and expectations:
  • Manage chemical inventory effectively & efficiently
  • Provide classroom training to new & seasoned employees
  • Ensure that our fleet is being properly maintained and cared for
  • Manage equipment dispersal and maintenance
  • Complete state required licensing forms and continuing education credits
  • Stay within budgets and maximize profits
  • Willingness to perform tasks required of your employees to get the job done
Competencies and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Intermediate knowledge of formulas in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to understand and describe complex problems
  • Has a clear understanding of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Able to execute multiple projects concurrently.
