Start Date: ASAP

About Degree Wellness

Degree Wellness® is a fast-growing, modern self-care studio offering innovative, non-invasive treatments including cryotherapy, infrared sauna, cold plunge, red light therapy, IV therapy, compression massage, and more. Our mission is to empower people to feel, look, and live at their optimal level in a space that blends luxury, hospitality, and natural healing practices — all delivered with a concierge-style, private-suite experience.

Position Overview

We are seeking a sales-oriented, engaging, high-energy Studio Manager to lead the remaining presales efforts, support the opening of the studio, and manage daily operations once open. This role is extremely customer-facing — confidence, professional communication, and strong presentation all matter, as you will be the first and most visible representation of the Degree Wellness brand.

This is a high-impact role ideal for someone who loves connecting with people, thrives in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment, and takes pride in both hospitality and operational excellence.

Timeline & Key Responsibilities

Phase 1 — Presales (4–6 Weeks Immediately Upon Hire)

Primary goal: Sell founding memberships and generate excitement leading into opening.

  • Lead and execute presale outreach and membership sales (texting, calling, in-person conversations).

  • Attend local fitness events, studio partnerships, HOA/apt events, and tabling to represent Degree Wellness.

  • Confidently initiate conversations with prospects and overcome objections — this role requires comfort selling.

  • Maintain accurate CRM lead tracking and follow-up with urgency.

  • Present yourself professionally — attire, communication style, energy, and presence reflect our brand.

Success during this phase is measured by your ability to consistently converse, convert, and close.

Phase 2 — Studio Opening Support (VIP Week + Grand Opening)

You will shift into supporting the operational launch of the studio:

  • Assist with interviewing and onboarding a part-time studio team.

  • Coordinate staff availability for the training week and VIP Week.

  • Support scheduling for Founding Member VIP access and community partners.

  • Help oversee studio readiness, room setup, inventory preparation, and checklist execution.

  • Support Grand Opening event logistics and ensure every guest receives a concierge-level experience.

Phase 3 — Post-Opening Studio Leadership

Once open, you will oversee daily operations and ongoing revenue growth:

Sales & Membership Growth

  • Drive ongoing membership sales, upgrades, and service add-ons.

  • Train team members on sales scripts, objection handling, and closing.

  • Monitor and achieve sales KPIs and performance-based goals.

Customer Experience & Hospitality

  • Welcome every guest warmly — hospitality is a non-negotiable core of our brand.

  • Build relationships with members and create an environment that feels premium, private, and cared for.

  • Resolve concerns quickly and maintain brand standards in tone, language, and presentation.

Team Operations

  • Create weekly schedules based on volume and budget.

  • Provide real-time coaching, accountability, and positive leadership.

  • Maintain a fun, engaging, high-performance culture.

Studio Operations

  • Maintain immaculate studio cleanliness, supply stock, and room reset standards.

  • Oversee inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships.

  • Execute opening/closing procedures and uphold compliance standards.

  • Support social media efforts (light content capture, reposts, on-camera moments optional but beneficial).

Who You Are

  • Sales-Driven & Confident Communicator — energized by conversation and capable of driving conversions.

  • Professional & Polished — you take pride in how you present yourself (appearance, energy, tone).

  • Hospitality-Minded — you understand that how we make people feel is as important as what we offer.

  • Hands-On Operator — organized, proactive, and willing to roll up your sleeves.

  • Community-Oriented — comfortable representing the brand at events and networking locally.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in sales-forward roles within wellness, fitness, spa, retail, or hospitality.

  • Proven track record in closing sales, hitting revenue targets, or membership-based selling.

  • Comfort managing scheduling, delegating, and giving constructive direction to others.

  • Experience with CRM or lead-tracking tools preferred.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and occasional events.

Why Join Degree Wellness

  • Be part of launching a premium wellness studio in McKinney.

  • Complimentary access to studio services (cryotherapy, red light therapy, sauna, cold plunge, etc.).

  • Competitive pay structure with commission + bonus opportunities.

  • A beautiful, modern work environment designed to support well-being for both clients and staff.

  • Meaningful role with direct ownership in shaping culture and customer experience.
