Job description

L-Soft is looking for an ambitious, organized, management trainee. You will be an integral part of the Bethesda team, helping to manage, coordinate, and keep organized important company tasks and procedures while working directly with the senior management team, including the CEO and founder of the company. Based on performance and aptitude, you will be fast-tracked to a management position. The management trainee will be exposed to many different departments within the organization, be directly involved in bringing new members to our team, and oversee the success of our current employees. You will have the opportunity to learn about the email communications industry from the same people who created the original social media, LISTSERV, in 1986. You will report directly to the Manager, Business Communications in-person at our Bethesda, MD office on a full-time basis.

Qualifications:

Applicants must have a four-year degree in a Business-related field, or equivalent experience.

Personal skills:

Driven; able to set and meet goals; organized; “can do” attitude; self-starter, able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Support the management team by completing important day-to-day tasks to aid the achievement of short-term and long-term company goals.
  • Assist in the administration of company benefits such as SmartBenefits, retirement plans, and insurance.
  • Participate in recruitment efforts by screening candidates and scheduling interviews.
  • Be responsible for office administration duties such as placing supplies orders, keeping records, being company point-person for building management, coordinating company event planning, and ensuring office organization.
  • Oversee the employee onboarding process by developing training programs, preparing workstations, enrolling new employees in company benefits, and preparing and filing necessary documentation.
