Job description

JOIN OUR NORTHWEST HOSPITAL FLOAT POOL

The Nursing Tech Float Pool functions under the supervision of the RN in a cooperative effort with the health care team to assist in providing a variety of patient care related duties. Maintains the standards of nursing care for all patients and implements the policies and procedures of the unit, Hospital and Nursing Department.

Must be able to float to all designated areas (Critical Care, Acute Care, Telemetry, ED, BHU, and OR).

REQUIREMENTS:

Basic employment skills;

High School diploma or GED equivalent;

1-3 years of experience;

Basic computer skills; Synquest; Medical terminology; Hoyer lift; Communication devices; Specialty beds; Automatic B/P cuff;

GNA / CNA Licensure; BLS card from AHA.
