We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator with a strong focus on IMS DBA knowledge to join our team in Dearborn, MI. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in database management, with a proven track record of optimizing database performance, ensuring data integrity, and implementing robust backup and recovery solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of IMS databases and the ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams to support our data driven initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain IMS databases to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to optimize system efficiency.
  • Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data integrity.
  • Collaborate with application developers to design database schemas and optimize queries.
  • Perform regular database maintenance tasks, including updates, patches, and security audits.
  • Document database configurations, procedures, and best practices for future reference.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in database technologies.
