CNC Programmer Trainee
Key Responsibilities:
  • CNC Programming:
    • Create and maintain CNC programs for EDM, Milling, and Jig Grinding.
    • Develop CNC programs for 3-axis surface milling of hardened tool steels.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Create and maintain Tooling Inspection Reports.
    • Develop prototype routings and control plans.
  • 3D Printing:
    • Program, operate, and maintain 3D printers.
  • Collaboration and Design:
    • Create product drawings in collaboration with the engineering team.
    • Administer drawing files within a Product Data Management (PDM) environment.
  • Precision Machining [Secondary Reponsibility]
    • Operate Tool Room equipment to support Operations with Tools, Gages and Fixtures.

Qualifications:
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of five years of machining experience, including machine setup, troubleshooting, making offsets for tool wear, and part inspection.
    • Ability to read technical drawings and working knowledge of GDT
    • Experience with CNC programming and CAD software is a plus.
    • Working knowledge of G and M codes.
    • Proficiency with Excel.

Job Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment with rapid changes in priority.
  • Ability to work at a computer workstation for extended periods.
