About this Role
As an Inpatient Hospice RN, you'll provide exceptional nursing care and emotional support to patients and families receiving hospice services in an inpatient setting. What You'll Do
In this role, you will be a trusted guide and advocate for patients and families by:
  • Delivering compassionate, skilled nursing care in an inpatient hospice setting
  • Performing comprehensive head-to-toe assessments and monitoring changes in condition
  • Educating families and caregivers on care needs, symptom management, and next steps
  • Partnering with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to create personalized care plans
  • Providing emotional support and reassurance to patients and loved ones
  • Leading and supervising LVNs, hospice aides, and support staff
  • Coordinating seamless care transitions and discharge planning when appropriate
  • Maintaining accurate, timely clinical documentation
  • Helping create a calm, safe, and dignified environment for every patient

Requirements
  • Current RN license in the State of Texas
  • 1+ year of RN experience preferred
  • Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
  • Ability to work with compassion across diverse backgrounds and family dynamics
  • Strong leadership, organization, and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds
