About the RoleLocation: Colorado Springs, CO
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – must report to the client site in Colorado Springs 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)

Blue Rose is seeking a Java Developer to help build web and backend applications and services supporting a credentialing and case management system.

The developer will work with Java/Spring-based REST APIs, Web 2.0 technologies, and a continuous integration environment. You will join a development team building the next generation of customer engagement systems supporting federal service agencies.

This position requires an Active Final Secret Security Clearance.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop enterprise applications using Java.
  • Build and support web and backend applications and services.
  • Develop and integrate Java/Spring-based REST APIs.
  • Support credentialing and case management system capabilities.
  • Develop and implement software solutions using:
    • AngularJS
    • HTML
    • CSS
    • JavaScript
    • Bootstrap
    • Java
  • Work within a continuous integration development environment.
  • Use Java development tools such as Eclipse, JUnit, and Git.
  • Collaborate with a team of developers building customer engagement solutions for federal service agencies.
  • Participate in Agile software development activities.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 4+ years of Java development experience building enterprise applications.
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience developing and implementing software solutions using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Java.
  • 1+ years of experience using Java development tools such as Eclipse, JUnit, and Git.
  • Ability to report to the client site in Colorado Springs, CO three days per week – Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
  • Active Final Secret Security Clearance. Interim Secret clearances and Interim Top-Secret clearances are not authorized.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting a large-scale Federal IT program.
  • Experience working within the SAFe Agile delivery framework.
