Job Description:
JSL is searching for a highly motivated Instructional Coordinator to support the Nato Sea Sparrow Missile System (NSSMS) Program by assisting with planning, analysis, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of manpower, personnel, and training (MP&T) technical products and services directed toward maintaining and improving fleet readiness. This support will extend to the program and its stakeholders. Also, this position will provide Training Support Agent (TSA) support services that include the following:
โ€ข MP&T Analysis and Planning: The candidate will develop and maintain foundational MP&T documentation to include:
  • Assisting with the development of Manpower Estimate Reports (MERs) and updating the Job Duty Task Analysis (JDTA)
  • Training Front End Analysis (FEA), and Navy Training System Plan (NTSP)
  • Review Ship Change Documents (SCDs) and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) to determine impacts on curriculum and training delivery.

โ€ข Curriculum and Training Material Development:
  • Develop, maintain, and review training materials in compliance with NAVEDTRA 130, 131, and 136 series guidance. This includes developing and updating Job Qualifications Requirements (JQR) / Personnel Qualification Standards (PQS) and using Authoring Instructional Material (AIM I/II/LOM) to create and revise lesson plans, trainee guides, and testing materials (PTAG/KTAG).
  • Responsible for executing the full NETC end-to-end (E2E) PADDIE-M process and transitioning legacy curriculum to AIM LOM as required.

โ€ข Stakeholder Collaboration and Material Review:
  • Organize and lead Logistics Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs) and collaborate with the Fleet, Training Commands, and other technical stakeholders on the revision of training documents.
  • Review training material content deliveries-including Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI), Interactive Courseware (ICW), and Virtual/Augmented Reality (VR/AR) modules-for technical fit, format, and function.

โ€ข Programmatic and Reporting Support:
  • Develop and maintain reports, charts, and graphs to support MP&T efforts.
  • Provide weekly highlights to designated government personnel and coordinate all requirements to support stakeholder participation in meetings and training events.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Prior Navy experience with Nato Sea Sparrow Missile System (NSSMS)
  • Must be legally authorized to in the United States without the need of employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance level Secret
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Project, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of Navy Training Systems, Policies, and Procedures
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn quickly and perform in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to respond quickly to evolving customer requirements and produce positive results.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with developing and/or delivering training for the US Navy
  • Experience and understanding of NTSP, MER, JDTA, and/or PADDIE-M
  • Experience with Authoring Instructional Material (AIM) and/or AIM Learning Object Module (LOM)
  • Navy NEC 9502 and/or Master Training Specialist certified
