Job description

Roman and Williams seeks a skilled Architectural Visualization Post-Production Specialist with 4-6 years professional experience to join our team. The ideal applicant will be extremely self-motivated, and have the ability to think and work on multiple projects at once with both technical acumen and creative thinking. This candidate should be comfortable with communicating in detail with project team consistently– both verbally and in written form, and communicating with members of the RW team. The primary responsibility of this role would be to elevate completed renderings into polished, presentation-ready images through advanced post-production. This would include:

  • Styling renderings with artwork, accessories, books, florals, and decorative objects
  • Replacing fabrics, finishes, lighting, or architectural details based on feedback (Depending on the renderer’s ability to pick-up due to timing)
  • Advanced Photoshop retouching
  • Enhancing lighting and atmosphere with glows, reflections, and sunlight
  • Color-correcting to depict materials "accurately" to spec. Adjust hue, saturation, contrast, and white balance to match the desired mood or time of day.
  • Image Enhancement: Refine lighting, reflections, textures, and shadows from raw render elements (passes/masks).
  • Photorealistic Detailing: Insert digital entourage (people, vegetation, cars, sky replacements) and apply photographic depth of field.
  • Flaw Correction: Clean up minor rendering glitches, noise, or artifacts without altering core architectural intent.
  • Animation Post-Production: Edit video fly-throughs, add atmospheric visual effects, and manage sound or transitions.
  • Clear communication and distribution of information within the team
  • Maintain project directories
  • Ability to collaborate with consultants and work on a project team.

This role would not be responsible for any modeling and/or rendering of architectural elements or FF&E. While being familiar with architectural rendering workflows would be helpful, advanced Photoshopping skills are the primary qualifications.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of professional architectural experience
  • Residential experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of construction methods
  • Fluency in AutoCAD & Sketchup
  • Strong graphics and visual presentation skills.
  • 3D modeling and rendering experience (Rhino, Revit) is a plus
  • Dexterity with hand drawing: rendering capabilities is a plus
