Job description

Job Summary:
World Equestrian Center - Ocala, Florida is currently seeking a Groundskeeper to assist with maintaining the grounds and landscaping of our magnificent facility. Position is outdoors so candidates must be able to come to work and produce results regardless of outdoor weather conditions. Additionally, the job requires a great deal of often strenuous physical activity therefore applicants should have the ability to meet these requirements. Weekend availability is a must.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide general maintenance of the grounds including landscaping and parking lots.
  • Provide general maintenance of all cabins and mobile homes buildings on the facility.
  • Provide electric, mechanical, plumbing and carpentry to facility and grounds.
  • Communicate projects and duties to weekend staff.
  • Train staff on equipment and tasks related to maintaining grounds before, during, and after events.
  • Assist with grounds prep and clean-up.
  • Communicate with management in regard to staffing needs to complete weekly duties and projects.

  • Maintain a steady pace to meet demand for dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, utensils, etc.
  • Participate in additional maintenance and cleaning chores as directed.
  • Observe careful work habits and conditions in areas of sanitation, safety, breakage, and waste control.
