Position Summary:
Join Kniesel's Collision - Natomas as a Collision Estimator and become part of a high-performing, team-driven shop known for quality and customer care. In this role, you'll write accurate, detailed repair estimates, serve as a primary point of contact for customers and insurance partners, and help guide each repair from intake through completion. We're looking for a detail-oriented professional who communicates clearly, takes pride in their work, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while upholding Kniesel's high standards for craftsmanship and customer experience.

Kniesel's Collision - Natomas is conveniently located in Sacramento's growing Natomas community, just minutes from Interstate 5, Interstate 80, and Sacramento International Airport. This location offers employees a convenient commute from throughout the Sacramento region and serves one of the city's fastest-growing residential and commercial areas. Its strategic location provides easy access for both customers and team members while supporting the continued growth and development of the Natomas community.

Position Available: Collision Estimator (Full-Time)
Location:Kniesel's Collision - Natomas, 1200 Del Paso Rd., Sacramento, CA 95834


Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service:Deliver top-notch customer service by clearly explaining repair plans, maintaining open communication throughout the repair process, promptly addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction upon completion.
  • Estimating:Demonstrated proficiency in collision estimating processes, including body, frame, mechanical, and paint operations. Capable of conducting comprehensive damage assessments and producing accurate, detailed repair estimates.
  • Insurance Coordination: Collaborate with insurance companies to ensure repairs are approved and align with insurance and Kniesel's standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with body technicians and other team members to manage repair timelines and deliver high-quality repairs.
  • Compliance & Quality Control: Perform quality inspections to ensure repairs meet Kniesel's standards, ensuring accuracy and adherence to all regulatory guidelines.
  • 2+ years of experience as a collision estimator or in a related role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of CCC1, Mitchell, and other collision repair estimating software.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with customers, insurance companies, and team members.
  • Familiarity with Nexsyis management softwareis a plus.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
