Onsite Event Manager (Seasonal)

Glenlore Trails | Commerce Township, MI

Employment: Seasonal (August-January)


Love Being outdoors? Enjoy leading people and creating unforgettable guest experiences? Glenlore Trails is looking for a highly organized, energetic, and customer-focused Onsite Event Manger to oversee the day-to-day operations of one of Michigan’s premier immersive outdoor events.


This is a hands-on leadership role that begins in August, allowing time to prepare for opening night by hiring and training staff, coordinating logistics, organizing inventory, and ensuring every detail is ready before guests arrive in September.


Schedule:

August – Mid-September (Pre-Season)

  • Monday–Friday daytime hours
  • Focus on hiring, staff training, scheduling, event preparation, inventory, and logistics

Mid-September – January (Event Season)

  • One weekday office day for planning and administrative work
  • Thursday–Sunday evenings onsite at Glenlore Trails during event operations
  • Additional daytime hours as needed for planning and event support

What You'll Do

  • Lead all front-of-house operations during event nights
  • Hire, train, and schedule seasonal staff
  • Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve issues as they arise
  • Coordinate concessions, vendors, entertainment, and daily logistics
  • Keep the site organized, stocked, and operating efficiently
  • Support inventory management and operational planning throughout the season
