$3,000 Sign-On Bonus
Join our team as a Trailer Service Technician and help keep our customers' equipment operating safely and efficiently. We are seeking a motivated, mechanically inclined individual who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of semi-trailers and trailer equipment
  • Complete preventative maintenance services according to manufacturer and company standards
  • Conduct DOT inspections and identify required repairs
  • Diagnose and repair:
    • Air brake systems
    • Electrical and lighting systems
    • Trailer doors and lift components
    • Landing gear (trailer legs)
    • Trailer floors
    • Suspension systems
    • Trailer bodies and structural components
  • Interpret work orders, technical manuals, and repair procedures
  • Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation and safety
  • Provide excellent customer service during shop and field service assignments
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Complete accurate work orders, inspection reports, and service documentation
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Technical degree or diesel/trailer repair certification preferred
  • Previous experience as a diesel mechanic or trailer service technician preferred
  • Class A CDL preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
