Job description

Job Description:
  • Receive breakdown calls from Drivers and provide repair facilities to take the equipment to.
  • Daily monitoring of maintenance issues with tractors and trailers to include regular status updates.
  • Coordinate with repair shops and roadside services to minimize downtime for customer loads and drivers.
  • Research repair shops and services to coordinate cost effective and timely repairs.
  • Track, report and relay service information for all preventative maintenance and annual inspections services.
  • Initiate, audit and sustain all tractor and trailer maintenance files in all necessary systems.
  • Enter all maintenance invoices in the Transportation Management system.
  • Order parts when needed.
  • Additional duties.

Minimum Requirement:
  • 2 years of experience in shop experience.
  • Organized and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong computer skills and experience in Microsoft Suite with a focus on Excel.
