Team & Role;

The U.S. Renewable Natural Gas desk trades a high value commodity market that interacts closely with regulated biofuels markets and rapidly growing demand for decarbonization products. This role offers an opportunity toparticipateincommodity trading and renewables, complex systems for arbitrage, and atrack to career paths in Trading, Operations, Analytics, and more within the energy commodities space.Thepositionreportsdirectly to the Senior Traderandas a Trading Systems Analyst,you'lloverseedirect management of our Energy Trading and Risk Management Platform, ensuring all trades, positions, and resulting PnL are reflected accurately.You'llcollaborate closely with Operations to then make sure that deliveries occur flawlessly and work closely with our Portfolio Management team tomaintain a clear system snapshot of our book. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Trade capture and entry to Datahive (our ETRM platform) as well as our independent Commercial Dashboard against which it is reconciled 
• Datahive allocation and matching of buys and sells in accordance with guidance from the Portfolio Manager 
• Counterparty communication: soliciting monthly forecasts, nominations, and actual volumes 
• Alignment with operations on execution, tackling any system issues or nuance to maintain intra-day accuracy of book positions and PnL 
• Produce monthly Payment Packages (clear understanding of trade obligations so as to produce these monthly summaries) 
• Reconciliation support in conjunction with Operations, Risk, and the Portfolio Manager 

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• 0-3years of relevant work experience
• Undergraduate degree in economics, finance, math, business or other related majoris a plus, but not required
• Proficiencyin Excel (and/orVBA) and Python 
• Stronganalyticalskillsandproactiveattitude 
• Comfort with large data sets, detail oriented, prefers a task oriented role 
• Familiaritywithessentialtradingconceptsandkeeninterestinfinancialand (environmental) commoditiesmarkets 
• Possess strong organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to multi-task 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS 

STX intends on offering the selected candidate a competitive base salary withing the range of $60.000 USD - $86.000 based on several objective factors such as relevant experience, location, holistic skillset, and applicable licenses and certifications. The candidate may also be eligible for discretionary compensation asdeterminedannually within thecompanyfiscal year.
