Position Summary:Concentric's Philadelphia metropolitan area team is seeking a Full-Time Senior Associate who is a detail-oriented independent multi-tasker and thrives in a fast-paced team environment. This individual will primarily focus on day-to-day trading in support of the firm's active tax indexing equity and investment grade fixed income strategies for the firm's SMA platform.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Equity order processing (i.e., following a rules-based approach for the routing of equity orders using algorithms and assessing real-time market conditions to ensure best execution).
  • Fixed income trading (i.e., buying/selling investment grade bonds while evaluating relative value in fixed income markets consistent with investment policies and team-level strategic positioning).
  • Trading operations support.
  • Best execution review and analysis.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • 1 - 3 years' relevant experience is required.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with team members and counterparties.
  • Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a strong work ethic.

Preferred:
  • Business degree.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard platforms, specifically Bloomberg.
  • Knowledge of equity order types and algorithms.
  • Experience handling equity orders and/or working on a buy-side fixed income trading desk.
