Job description

We are seeking an Equity Trading Platform Architect to help build and evolve the next generation of our trading platform and operating model! This role combines hands-on trade execution with workflow design, process improvement, automation, and operational innovation across the trading lifecycle.

The ideal candidate understands the mechanics of trading, but also sees opportunities to rethink how work gets done. They are intellectually curious, technologically fluent, and motivated by building scalable solutions in a dynamic investment environment. This opportunity offers broad exposure across investment, trading, operations, compliance, brokers, and technology with the opportunity to influence both day-to-day execution and the long-term evolution of the firm.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute domestic and international equity trades with sound judgment across liquidity, timing, implementation strategy, and market conditions.

Help design and evolve the firms next-generation trading platform, including workflows, automation, data architecture, and operational processes.

Contribute to the development of AI-enabled tools, decision-support systems, and scalable investment workflows across trading and operations.

Improve execution quality and organizational efficiency through thoughtful application of technology, analytics, systems thinking, and process design.

Partner closely with investment, compliance, operations, brokers, and technology teams to support an integrated front-to-back trading environment.

Help strengthen the firms trading infrastructure, controls, broker management practices, and post-trade operating framework.

Participate in the ongoing rethinking of how a modern investment organization should operate in an AI-enabled environment.

WHAT EXCEPTIONAL CANDIDATES BRING
Experience in trading, investment operations, portfolio operations, middle office, or a related investment management environment.

Familiarity with the equity trading lifecycle and an interest in how trading, operations, and investment workflows can evolve through technology and process design.

Curiosity about the intersection of markets, systems, automation, data, and AI and enthusiasm for learning and experimenting with new approaches.

Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working in dynamic, fast-moving environments where priorities and workflows continue to evolve.

Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate tradeoffs, identify inefficiencies, and contribute to operational and execution improvements.

Comfort working across teams and collaborating with investment professionals, brokers, operations, compliance, and technology partners.

Strong communication skills, ownership mentality, and willingness to challenge existing assumptions constructively.

Experience with trading systems, workflow tools, automation, analytics, or process improvement initiatives is helpful, but depth of curiosity, adaptability, and learning orientation matter more than any single technical skillset.
