Overview

As a Rates Trade Operations Analyst in Derivatives Middle Office, you will support trade lifecycle management for the Latam desk. FICC Operations is a dynamic group that collaborates with all areas of Deutsche Bank in turn creating a myriad of learning opportunities and a collaborative culture. We serve as an international business partner to aid in processes and controls, as well as help improve our systems to deliver accuracy, efficiency, and the overall integrity to our business.

What You'll Do

  • Work with Traders, Sales, Clearing Brokers, and operational teams on trade clearance, settlement issues, and intercompany breaks

  • Ensure all T0-T3 risk is properly mitigated through daily monitoring of key control reports

  • Anticipate issues that may adversely affect operational support of the funds and take action to reduce risk of occurrence

  • Cultivate internal and external relationships to ensure proper service levels are achieved

  • Become familiar with regulatory requirements around derivative products and develop a deeper understanding of different products and markets

  • Build relationships with business partners to service clients and utilize applications such as MarkitWire, Summit, iTrac, Gretl, and other internal platforms daily

Skills You'll Need

  • Previous Financial Services experience specific to the Over The Counter Emerging Markets & Rates Derivatives

  • Basic understanding of Investment Bank / Securities Broker structure with regard to derivatives transaction processing

  • Ability to take direction as needed as well as being able to work independently

  • BA/BS/BBA in Business, Finance, Economics, or equivalent experience

  • Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimize workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville, FL office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.
