The Junior Market Analyst will assist with the creation, maintenance, and growth of the Beckett Trading Card Game Database. This includes researching and adding new TCGs, gathering secondary market sales information on new and existing TCGs, analyzing market data, keeping the Beckett TCG Online Price Guide up-to-date and accurate in relation to the market, and TCG image database work. They will report to the Collectibles Data Publishing Manager out of our Plano, TX office.
Onsite Requirement:
This role requires you to be onsite in the office 5 days per week.
What You'll Do:
  • Help gather a checklist, image, and product information for all new Trading Card Games for database purposes.
  • Help with data entry, market information gathering, and the pricing process for new and existing Trading Card Games.
  • Assist with the building of an extensive image library of Trading Card Games.
  • Special TCG-related projects as needed.
  • May be asked to assist the Product and Marketing teams with Beckett's TCG business development.
  • Support any ad-hoc departmental projects as required.

Who You Are:
  • Trading Card Game subject matter expert with an emphasis on new card products, including- but not limited to - Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Dragon Ball, Digimon, One Piece, Weiss Schwarz, Flesh and Blood, and MetaZoo.
  • Strong general knowledge of the TCG hobby and collecting trends in the TCG market.
  • Strong general knowledge of TCG hobby websites, influencers, software, and mobile apps within the collectibles industry.
  • Strong computer skills, with the ability and willingness to learn Beckett's proprietary Price Guide Software and other internal software applications. Familiarity with productivity tools
  • like Notion, JIRA, or Trello is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.Ability to work cross-functionally with teams and coordinate work efforts
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills are a must
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • General knowledge of tabletop and board games like Dungeons & Dragons, Gloomhaven,Warhammer, and their related card products is highly preferred.
  • Basic image editing experience with systems like Photoshop, Canva, GIMP preferred

Salary Range:
The salary range for this position is $21.50/hr Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, experience, and skill set.
