What is a trading broker?

A trading broker is a professional or firm that facilitates the buying and selling of financial securities, such as stocks, bonds, commodities, or currencies, on behalf of clients. Brokers act as intermediaries between buyers and sellers, executing trades and often providing advice or research. They may work for brokerage firms, banks, or independently, and they typically earn commissions or fees for their services.
