QUALITY TECHNICIAN


RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Perform first and last piece approvals for production to ensure quality
  • Perform required quality inspections (hourly, bi-hourly, active inspection)
  • Conduct gage and fixture studies as required
  • Monitor, support and assist in product escalation, isolation and containment of defective material
  • Create and issue sort and rework instructions to ensure nonconforming product is handled accordingly
  • Perform basic weld destructs & inspections at required intervals
  • Create and issue QC alerts and review with associates and supervisors
  • Create and maintain rework area and ensure work instructions and samples are correct and in place
  • Perform internal sorting activities by daily assignment   

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word
  •            Effective email and electronic communication skills as required, including TEAMS
  • Ability to work with micrometers, calipers, scales, or light machinery

·          PAY AND SHIFT TIMES:

  • $25.00 per hour
  • 1st Shift – 6am to 2pm

This full-time, hourly role is a part of our Quality team and reports to the Quality Manager.
