Job description

Michigan Automotive Compressor, Inc. (MACI), is a world-class manufacturer of air conditioning compressors and magnetic clutches. MACI is a joint venture between Toyota Industries Corporation (TICO) and DENSO.

We're on the lookout for a Journeyperson/ Skilled Trades Associate with a background in Facilities maintenance. If you're a team player with mechanical abilities and a knack for electrical work, we'd love to hear from you!


Key Requirements:

  • Journeyperson's card OR 5+ years of proven experience in handling Facilities Equipment such as Boilers, Air Compressors, Substations, High Voltage, R.O. Water Systems, Air Conditioning Systems, and HVAC Systems.
  • Strong mechanical abilities. Electrical skills are a plus.
  • Willingness to perform both Electrical & Mechanical work.

Desired Qualities:

  • A well-rounded Maintenance Associate who is eager to help the team achieve their goals.
  • Ability and desire to work and interact with other skilled trades associates across 3 shifts.
  • A team player who brings ideas to the table and supports the team concept in improving operations of the facilities area.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain utilities to the manufacturing area, including but not limited to repair and regularly scheduled PM's of equipment. Must be comfortable working at heights of 40 ~ 50ft in Hi Lift equipment.
  • Participate in Kaizen activities to prevent reoccurrence of Equipment failures.
  • Assist with Q.C. Activities within the Maintenance team.
  • Provide support to Production and other maintenance groups when required.
  • Willingness to work in confined spaces.


Schedule (8-hour shifts):

  • 1st or 2nd (NOT AVAILABLE FOR NEW HIRES CURRENTLY)
  • 3rd 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
  • 5-day work week
  • Limited weekend OT
  • Volunteer OT available
