Job description

We are seeking a Journeyperson or Skilled Trades Associate with strong Facilities Maintenance experience to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining plant utilities and critical building systems, performing both preventative maintenance and repairs on key equipment, while supporting production uptime and reliability initiatives. This role requires a hands-on, safety-focused tradesperson comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces, with the ability to contribute to continuous improvement and cross-functional maintenance support activities.

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Journeyperson certification OR 5+ years’ experience in Facilities Maintenance
  • Hands-on experience with industrial utilities (boilers, air compressors, substations, high voltage systems, RO water systems, HVAC, and air conditioning systems)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with basic to strong electrical capability
  • Ability to perform both electrical and mechanical maintenance work
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs and equipment repairs
  • Comfortable working at heights (40–50 ft) using hi-lift equipment
  • Willingness and ability to work in confined spaces
  • Experience supporting production teams in a manufacturing environment
  • Participation in Kaizen or continuous improvement initiatives to reduce equipment failures
  • Exposure to quality control or maintenance-related QC activities is an asset
