Job description

Your Contribution:

The Foreign Trade Intern will support the Foreign Trade and Customs team in daily import operations, customs compliance activities, and administrative tasks, working closely with the Team Lead and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accurate and compliant trade operations.

  Support import and customs operations by coordinating with customs brokers and internal stakeholders.

  Assist in the review and processing of import documentation to ensure compliance with customs regulations.

  Perform data entry and maintain trade-related records with a high level of accuracy.

  Analyze existing procedures and support process improvement initiatives.

  Support administrative activities related to foreign trade operations.

  Collaborate with the Team Lead on special projects and continuous improvement efforts.

  Assist in monitoring compliance with North American trade regulations and IMMEX/Maquiladora program requirements

Your Experience & Qualifications:

  Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Logistics, Foreign Trade, or a related field.

  Basic understanding of international trade, import/export processes, and customs operations.

  Knowledge of North American trade practices and Mexico's IMMEX/Maquiladora program is preferred.

Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data.
