Job description

Your Contribution:
The Foreign Trade Intern will support the Foreign Trade and Customs team in daily import operations, customs compliance activities, and administrative tasks, working closely with the Team Lead and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accurate and compliant trade operations.
  • Support import and customs operations by coordinating with customs brokers and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in the review and processing of import documentation to ensure compliance with customs regulations.
  • Perform data entry and maintain trade-related records with a high level of accuracy.
  • Analyze existing procedures and support process improvement initiatives.
  • Support administrative activities related to foreign trade operations.
  • Assist in monitoring compliance with North American trade regulations and IMMEX/Maquiladora program requirements.
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be required.

Your Experience & Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Logistics,
    Foreign Trade, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of international trade, import/export processes, and customs operations.
  • Knowledge of North American trade practices and Mexico's IMMEX/Maquiladora program is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data.
