Job description

intellectual property team as a Trademark Paralegal supporting U.S. and international trademark prosecution and portfolio management. This role offers direct client interaction, meaningful responsibility, and no billable hour requirement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file U.S. trademark applications, office action responses, renewals, and maintenance documents with the USPTO.

  • Manage trademark portfolios, monitor deadlines, and coordinate with docketing staff.

  • Communicate directly with clients to gather filing information and supporting documentation.

  • Conduct trademark searches and assist with domestic and international filings, including Madrid Protocol matters.

  • Collaborate with attorneys and international associates to ensure timely and accurate trademark prosecution.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of trademark paralegal experience.

  • Proficiency with USPTO Trademark Center, TEAS, and TSDR.

  • Strong knowledge of U.S. trademark prosecution, maintenance, and renewal procedures.

  • Familiarity with international trademark filings and the Madrid Protocol.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and client service skills.

  • Experience with trademark docketing systems, portfolio management software, or copyright matters is a plus.
