Role Definition

Leads a team of employees who manages development projects, development teams and application support functions in warehousing and trade compliance domains.
Responsibilities
  • Warehouse & Logistics Systems Ownership
    Own and optimize systems supporting warehousing and logistics (e.g., WMS, TMS, ERP logistics modules), ensuring reliable execution of inventory movements, shipping, receiving, and distribution operations.
  • Transportation & Logistics Enablement
    Enable end-to-end logistics capabilities-including carrier integration, freight management, shipment tracking, and delivery visibility-to improve on-time performance, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
  • Trade Compliance & Global Trade Enablement
    Support trade and customs compliance processes (import/export, documentation, duties, tariffs, and regulations) by ensuring systems, data, and integrations enable compliant and efficient global trade operations.
  • Data Integrity, Automation & Process Efficiency
    Ensure accuracy of service, warehouse, logistics, and trade data; drive automation and standardization across processes to reduce manual effort, errors, and cycle times while improving throughput and operational resilience.
  • Business Partnership & Continuous Improvement
    Partner closely with Warehouse Operations, Logistics, Business Management, Field service, service parts and Trade teams to translate operational needs into technology solutions, lead enhancements and projects, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum requirements
A bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience in a similar role
Summary Pay Range:
$147,760.00 - $221,640.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
