Job description

Job Overview

The maintenance manager oversees the daily activities of the plant maintenance staff. Oversees staff activities to see they are performed in accordance with accepted work practices and hospital and departmental policies. Also acts as a contact person for specific projects as assigned. Responsible for providing a safe and reliable building and grounds.
Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited trade school in relevant field or possess equivalent work experience
  • 3 years of experience in plant operations and maintenance

Preferred Qualifications

  • B.S./B.A. or Associates degree
  • Mechanical or electrical engineering degree or certification
  • 5 years of experience in plant operations and maintenance in a healthcare setting
  • 1 year of supervisory experience
  • Engineering License or certification
  • Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM)
