Position Summary

AFL  is seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator to support our growing Data Center Operations team. This role provides advanced coordination, reporting, and administrative support to Operations Managers, Construction Managers, and project leadership teams. The Operations Coordinator II plays a critical role in ensuring project data, workforce planning, materials, customer documentation, and reporting requirements are managed efficiently and accurately.

This position helps remove administrative burdens from field management and allows Construction Managers and Operations Managers to remain focused on project execution, customer satisfaction, and operational success.

Responsibilities

Operational Reporting & Analytics

  • Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
  • Track project performance metrics and key operational indicators.
  • Analyze project data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Generate reports for internal leadership and customer review.

Labor Tracking & Workforce Coordination

  • Monitor workforce utilization, labor hours, and productivity metrics.
  • Assist with manpower forecasting and workforce planning activities.
  • Maintain labor tracking systems and ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Coordinate onboarding, badging, and access requirements for project personnel.

Resource & Schedule Coordination

  • Coordinate resources across multiple projects and job sites.
  • Support operational and construction schedules through planning and tracking activities.
  • Assist project leadership in monitoring milestones and deliverables.
  • Communicate schedule updates and resource needs with internal stakeholders.

Material & Equipment Coordination

  • Track material deliveries and inventory requirements.
  • Coordinate equipment assignments, rentals, and returns.
  • Assist in resolving material shortages and scheduling conflicts.
  • Maintain records related to project assets and equipment utilization.

Customer Documentation & Compliance

  • Prepare and maintain customer-required documentation packages.
  • Ensure project files remain accurate, organized, and audit-ready.
  • Support compliance with customer reporting requirements, safety documentation, and contractual obligations.
  • Track and maintain project closeout documentation.

Subcontractor Management Support

  • Collect and compile subcontractor production and progress reports.
  • Track subcontractor documentation, certifications, and deliverables.
  • Support invoice reconciliation and reporting activities.
  • Assist project management teams with subcontractor communications.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Business, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in operations coordination, project coordination, construction administration, data center operations, telecommunications, or a related industry.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Experience creating reports, dashboards, and analyzing operational data.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting construction, data center, or infrastructure projects preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within hyperscale data center environments.
  • Knowledge of project scheduling tools and workforce management systems.
  • Familiarity with ERP, project management, or reporting platforms.
  • Understanding of construction operations, logistics, and material management processes.
