Job summary:
The Driver / Warehouse Laborer is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, transporting materials and equipment to and from jobsites as needed, maintaining inventory accuracy, and keeping the warehouse organized, clean, and operating efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate company trucks and vehicles to transport materials and supplies to and from job sites when needed.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and vehicle inspection reports
  • Organize and maintain warehouse inventory, shelving, and storage areas
  • Move materials throughout the warehouse and yard safely
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse/yard
  • Perform general labor duties assigned on project sites
  • Support emergency deliveries or after-hours material requests when needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
  • Valid Virginia driver's license with a DOT card
  • Comfortable driving 20' flatbed truck
  • Experience operating a forklift
  • Previous warehouse, construction, delivery, or material handling experience preferred
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Experience with warehouse organization and logistics
Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to safely lift, carry, push, and/or pull materials up to 80 lbs. as part of regular job duties
  • Must be able to stand and remain on feet for extended periods throughout the work shift while performing job tasks
  • Must be able to sit down for extended periods of time while operating a forklift
