Salary: $80,017.63 per year Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

In this role, you'll perform as an integral and effective part of a proactive, technically proficient, committed customer service team. Perform specialized inspection work involving building construction and renovation to ensure compliance with established standards and ordinances, codes, rules, and regulations. Prepare correspondence, records, and reports. Perform related work as required.

Qualifications

  • Required education level includes high school diploma
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Minimum 10 years of field experience
  • Candidates must be able to qualify within 30 days as a Building Inspector with the State of Michigan under Act 407
