What You Will Be Doing:
You will lead and develop a team of Inspectors responsible for ensuring the quality, compliance, and readiness of components and assemblies across Helion's production and development programs. In this role, you will manage daily inspection priorities and workflows, uphold rigorous quality and safety standards, and partner closely with Design Engineers, Building Reliability Engineers, Production Teams to ensure consistent inspection coverage and reliability throughout the product lifecycle. This is an onsite role reporting to a Production Manager at our Everett, WA office.
You Will:
  • Champion a culture of safety, quality, and technical rigor by ensuring adherence to build standards
  • Supervise day-to-day operations of Inspection teams - including scheduling, staffing, and shift coordination to maintain required coverage
  • Partner with Design, Build Reliability, Manufacturing, and Supplier Development Engineering teams to implement, improve, and sustain inspection processes, tooling, measurement methods, and documentation systems
  • Monitor team performance, provide coaching and feedback, and drive professional development within the inspection team
  • Lead hardware containments in collaboration with Build Reliability and Production team
  • Partner with the Production Training organization to lead development of inspector training and certification programs
  • Track inspection throughput, identify process bottlenecks, and coordinate cross-functional solutions with engineering and production leadership

Required Skills
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience, ideally within inspection, quality assurance, production, or R&D environments
  • Familiarity with mechanical/electrical inspection practices, measurement tools, and quality/safety protocols
  • Proven ability to hire, lead, and develop technical teams in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with demonstrated experience managing schedules and priorities across shifts
  • Skilled in collaborating with Engineers, Supervisors, and cross-functional partners to maintain operational excellence
