Job Overview
Job Title: Systems Administrator (TBMCS)
Location: Shaw AFB, SC
This position is pending contract award.
Job Responsibilities
Trace Systems is seeking a dynamic Systems Administrator (TBMCS) to join our team in support of the AFCENT Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) contract at Shaw AFB, SC. This role offers the opportunity to perform technical support, O&M, and system administration tasks and activities for TBMCS suite servers, clients and applications. The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • The contractor shall prepare a meeting minutes report documenting any decisions, recommendations and action items.
  • Perform all technical support and O&M activities for supported Enterprise systems;
  • Design, write, modify and implement software programs/applications;
  • Develop "glue-ware" to support operational client applications and security patches;
  • Provide Tier 2 technical support;
  • Install, configure, operate, manage, troubleshoot, repair, upgrade, inspect and maintain server systems (physical and virtual), including administration of core and functional services;
  • Manage and administer user accounts, profiles and access;
  • Monitoring user access and adherence to established policies and procedures to ensure a secure operating environment;
  • Monitor workstation and server logs for errors and failures and perform appropriate troubleshooting and maintenance;
  • Provide technical assistance for assigned projects;
  • Provide desktop, server and software application integration support;
  • Operate and maintain monitoring and analysis tools; and detect, analyze and resolve platform, infrastructure and system problems;
  • Monitor and control system performance, utilization and capacity to ensure optimal performance, availability, serviceability and recoverability; and report any vulnerabilities or deficiencies to government technical representatives;
  • Evaluate current architecture, research current technologies/solutions; and provide systems hardware/software upgrade and replacement recommendations for end-of- life/end-of-support COTS products to government technical representatives;
  • Other Duties as Required.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.
  • Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.
  • 1+ years performing administrative maintenance on TBMCS servers operating at an AOC, SPO, or an AFCENT reviewed and CO approved equivalent organization..
  • DoDM 8140 IAT Level 2 or higher (Security+).
  • Microsoft Certified Solution Associate (MCSA) or equivalent certification.

Education
  • High School Diploma or GED.
