Job Overview
Job Title: Enterprise Systems Administrator Lead
Location: Shaw AFB, SC
This position is pending contract award.
Job Responsibilities
Trace Systems is actively recruiting for a, Enterprise Systems Administrator Lead to support the AFCENT Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) contract at Shaw AFB, SC
The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Design, write, modify and implement software programs/applications;
  • Develop "glue-ware" to support operational client applications and security patches;
  • Provide Tier 2 technical support;
  • Install, configure, operate, manage, troubleshoot, repair, upgrade, inspect and maintain server systems (physical and virtual), including administration of core and functional services;
  • Manage and administer user accounts, profiles and access;
  • Monitoring user access and adherence to established policies and procedures to ensure asecure operating environment;
  • Monitor workstation and server logs for errors and failures and perform appropriatetroubleshooting and maintenance;
  • Provide technical assistance for assigned projects;
  • Provide desktop, server and software application integration support;
  • Operate and maintain monitoring and analysis tools; and detect, analyze and resolve platform, infrastructure and system problems;
  • Monitor and control system performance, utilization and capacity to ensure optimal performance, availability, serviceability and recoverability; and report any vulnerabilities or deficiencies to government technical representatives;
  • Evaluate current architecture, research current technologies/solutions; and provide systems hardware/software upgrade and replacement recommendations for end-of life/end-of-support COTS products to government technical representatives;
  • Assist with the tracking and management of COTS licenses, warranties, service level agreements renewals for systems equipment and software;
  • Coordinate with system program offices (or commercial vendors) and implement approved hardware/software changes, upgrades and enhancements, as directed by the Government;
  • Update and maintain as-built systems/server configuration and connectivity drawings, diagrams and documentation, and publish semi-annually;
  • Support cloud services.
  • Global travel up to 10%.
  • Other Duties as Required.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance eligibility.
  • Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.
  • Regulation Requirement:Due to Qatar's immigration and labor regulations, Qatar work visas cannot be issued to individuals aged 60 or over, and are not subject to a waiver. Additionally, foreign nationals aged 60 or older are unable to renew their Qatari visa or change sponsors. Therefore, per Qatar work visa regulations, candidates must be 59 years of age or younger to be eligible for a Qatari work visa as required for this position.
  • DoDM 8140 IAT Level 2 (Security+) or higher; and Microsoft Certified Solution Associate (MCSA) or equivalent certification; and VMware Certified Associate (VCA) or equivalent certification.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE:
  • 3 years experience leading a team of 5 or more personnel.
  • Ability to set team goals, delegate tasks effectively, an ensure successful execution of projects.
  • Demonostrated ability to make decisions under pressure, particularly during incidents or system outages.
  • Ability to present technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with installation, configuation and maintenance of server operating systems (Windows Server/Linux).
  • Managing Active Directory, including user/group administration GPOs, and domain services.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms and enterprise storage.
  • Understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, rouuting and switching.
  • Experience wth cloud architecture.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; or 5+ years of IT Domain Knowledge experience.
