Job description

Job Title: Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) Process & Documentation Specialist Location: Vienna, VA Work Model: hybrid, onsite 3 days a week Pay Rate: open to W2 and established 1099 (no c2c) Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience with TPRM knowledge and process mapping/documentation. This is a Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) Process & Documentation Specialist role focused on process mapping, documentation, standardization, training/job aids, and continuous improvement. The person will work with Risk SMEs and business stakeholders to document current and future-state TPRM processes, create workflow maps and SOPs, standardize risk assessment methodologies, and develop easy-to-use job aids. A major goal is to improve consistency, scalability, audit readiness, governance, and operational effectiveness across the TPRM program. The role is more focused on process/business analysis and risk documentation than hands-on technical cybersecurity. Dedicated resource to support documentation, process mapping, and continuous improvement of the TPRM program, training materials that drive consistency, scalability, audit readiness, and operational effectiveness.

  • Lead the collection and documentation of process details, workflows, and business requirements to support large-scale process mapping and enhancement initiatives.
  • Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to understand future processes and accurately capture process flows, roles, responsibilities, and dependencies.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including workflow maps, procedures, and operational guidance.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by documenting current-state processes, identifying enhancement opportunities, and contributing ongoing process enhancements.
  • Ensure process documentation aligns with organizational standards, governance requirements, and strategic improvement objectives.
  • Create desktop job aids and reference materials that translate process requirements into clear, user-friendly instructions for daily operations.
  • Assist Risk Subject Matter Experts in standardizing risk assessment methodologies, documentation, templates, and procedures to promote consistency, quality, and alignment across risk domains.
